The Meiban story begins as a humble injection molder based in a small local workshop. It gave birth to Meiban's story of success. Now, Meiban is a global player in contract manufacturing with the Meiban head-office in Singapore and various production sites in Malaysia and China.

Meiban's founder and CEO Mr Goh Tiong Yong spent many years of his career working for a Japanese company - Daimei. And he honored this valuable relationship by naming his own injection molding company Meiban, meaning "insignia" or "signboard" in Japanese. This name hopes to remind us of a stamp of quality in our work philosophy.

Meiban went on to expand her business with consumer products and business equipment products. It then brought Meiban into Malaysia, China, and subsequently a portfolio of US and Europe clientele, concentrating on the consumer products, business equipment sector as well as the automotive industry. It was an uphill task for Meiban but through perseverance and constant striving, Meiban is able to reach where she is today.

Since the establishment of Meiban in 1987, it has now grown to be a 603 million sales company. In 2004 and 2005, Meiban was selected by Forbes Magazine to be one of the Best under a billion company. In 2004, Meiban was ranked 54th in the Singapore International 100 Ranking companies and in 2006, Meiban was selected by DP Network as Singapore's Top 15 growing company. This is a testimony of Meiban's capabilities, drive and dedication.

Today, Meiban's urge to succeed is still as strong. We focus on R&D and Design as well as our core business in moldmaking, injection molding and contract manufacturing. In 2006, Meiban won a RED DOT Design Award for product concept, Rollertoaster. In 2007, Meiban won another RED DOT & IF design award for personal navigation system.

Meiban continues to be dynamic in this ever changing and competitive industry. It remains true to give best service and solutions to our clients.
